Taos Integrated School of the Arts

Taos Integrated School of the Arts (TISA), a charter school in Taos NM, provides K-8 students with the opportunity to reach their maximum potential through a standards-based, multicultural, thematic, and arts-integrated curriculum. The district’s mission necessitates a smaller size classroom to allow for careful fostering of communication and relating skills.

TISA has been well received by the local community and has realized steady growth since its inception in 2009. With enrollment of over 180 students, TISA found itself struggling to find space in the local community utilizing existing commercial space. TISA set out to build a campus that would house both its elementary school and middle school children and allow for future growth.

In collaboration with TISA, Mobilease implemented a plan to develop the 6-acre site that TISA had recently purchased. Modular buildings were designed to create a 6,370 SF elementary school and a 6,160 SF middle school. Mobilease managed full site development, from raw ground to completion, and provided the modular classroom buildings, with site finished stucco, to harmonize with the surrounding community.
